Daily Wrap - May 4th, 2024
Phil bitches about the Fallout 4 day stream. He complains that hype and support for the Fallout 4 playthrough has dwindled. Itās the games industryās fault, apparently. The games industry has created a new breed of gamer that has zero attention span, meaning that they cannot sit through a lengthy Bethesda playthrough, and this has directly affected the level of support that Phil receives on his streams. Nothing he could do.

Phil casually admits that he has a way to speak to his moderators off stream, and they also noticed that support for Fallout 4 has dwindled . Apparently, the moderators were complaining that people in chat were totally disengaged, having their own conversations, and not paying attention to the game at all.
Phil begs the question - āWhat happened to Fallout 4? Why is it so slow?ā as his eyes dart around the room and he shrugs his shoulders, still ignoring the fact that his daily tithe of $25 dollars is dead and buried in the backyard.
After addressing the slow support, Phil works himself up again, and complains about people who want him to play the game on hard mode. These people are [color=] āidiotsā [/color] who are demanding āstupid variablesā because they just didnāt do the research - these things just make the game annoying. He reinforces, these demands are just āidiocy.ā
Phil really wants to keep this playthrough in the daytime stream slot, but itās going to be tough when attendance, engagement, and support are all dwindling. Today just felt like the game was dead 
. He āsupremely hopesā that support will bounce back after heās now made people aware of how poorly the game is doing.
Phil takes a victory lap over tonightās Star Wars stream. He mentions that he hit every tips goal, and uses this as a platform to say that DSPGaming has officially bounced back from RPG Overload 
, despite panicking about support just a few days ago.
Phil says that people are engaging and supporting the channel āin droves,ā despite saying two fucking minutes ago, that his Fallout playthrough is dead.
And in closing, Phil brings it back to Fallout 4, again, and says that heās worried about the playthrough. It needs to do good the next time he plays it.

It appears based on this tweet here that this is the person who sent the email, he also says he purposely made the sentence structure the way it is and made himself sound dented (spelling mistakes etc.) to appear as a genuine fan. Honestly he did it well because it clearly worked.

He attempted a new hat scam today, breaking out the fishing hat again but with the lures removed and asking for an extra $100 to put the lures back. He also managed to stall until 1:25 in his time zone to start gameplay.

This is the third time this year that Phil has claimed that trolls are publicly planning OPs to fuck over his business. This schitck is getting old.
What is the solution to this problem? Giving Phil even more money, of course. Even if Phil is wearing a fucking vest, you still need to tip him, because trolls might try to fuck with him. And if they do, Phil may, or may not, tell us about it. Greeeeaaat.

Thereās also the vague admission that a certain percentage of these large anonymous tips Phil has been receiving recently are fake troll tips, soā¦ are we to believe that Phil really isnāt making much at all on these streams. If what heās saying is true, he should be fucking panicking about not being able to afford groceries.

Come on Phil, youāre creating your own problem here by not seeing a random ass tip come in with zero real life information and just trying to pocket the cash because youāre greedy. Just refund it, send your little email to your remaining 3 whales saying they 100% need to use a verified Paypal or put the secret code in the tip message.

The Tipquisition era was pretty crazy, he would immediately pause the game and spend 5-10 minutes asking whether a certain denthead was in chat and whether he had tipped him just now, followed by berating him for not having a verified account. The banner on his Twitch page with a piggybank and the text āVerified Paypal requiredā also made me spit out my beer when I first saw it.

Sorry, for being late on this, but yeahā¦ Phil has been playing very fast and loose with these anonymous tips lately.
He gets these chargebacks, supposedly, and makes a huge fuss over the tips being large and anonymous, and then for the next week he gladly accepts large anonymous tips, like nothing fucking happened. Make it make sense.
There was actually a moment during the May 4th Star Wars stream, that I feel was quite the mask slip. Phil gets a large anonymous tip, accepts it no problem. Then later, he gets another large anonymous tip, and he starts getting nervous about it. He says he knows the earlier anonymous tip was legit, but he canāt say the same for this one.
How do we know itās legit, Phil? These are the tip inspections. He just has such a small pool of people who give him money now, that every tip is audited live.

For me, itās the fact Dave isnāt a fence sitter, heās an appeaser. Which sounds like a fence sitter, until you see him take on a further to the side topic. This fucker got asked what he thought of Osama Binladin being killed and he brought up the crusades. I think it would be entertaining for every wrong reasons to him and every right reason for us. Maybe Iām missing the sarcasm, but none of this is a mystery, right? Thereās no anonymous tips. He sees the name of everyone in paypal, but he follows some kind of gay āhonor systemā where he only calls out names when they put one in the message. So thereās no problem if itās an anonymous tip from OIC or some other pre-approved retard, but very nerves inducing if itās a new person.

Happii Gamer, the guy who made The Detractor game on steam, superchatted Phil on the podcast. Chaos ensues.
Basically, Phil denies getting the game taken down, and he claims that the game was taken down by another detractor. Like some sort of detractor turf war. I donāt know how the fuck he would know this, but thatās his claim. Happii Gamer types in chat, asking Phil if he will respond to his email. Phil bans him, and tells him to go fuck himself. ( 8:55 )
