It’s telling that his first masters were with Blanka, Honda and Lili because they all can skip neutral by having a forward lunging move that leads to an EZ command grab. It’s consequently telling that Blanka is his best character because not only can he skip neutral but he has a bunch of other bullshit built into him. It’s also telling that his worst winrate is with Ryu, the most honest character in the game. I mean Phail couldn’t make LUKE work, I don’t know how one manages that but it shows why he can’t do shit with Akoomer.

I’ve said it before, I’ll keep saying it till it stops being true, Dave only concerns him self with offense. He always claims there is nothing he can do in the corner unless he has a level 1 or 2 that can get him out of it. Failing that, he panic mashes a drive impact with all the timing and grace of a premature ejaculation. This is why Cammy completely ends him. She’s too damn fast for spam to reliably work. ANY player will stuff poorly spacing spamming with her jab, it’s too fucking fast. And anyone playing her with even the slightest hint of what they’re doing is going to brutally punish it after. She keeps to be kept at a distance, and Dave has no grasp of this basic concept.

Additional secret reason theory: DSP now has Brian, his new totally willing “friend” that absolutely definitely “loves” playing sf6 with him and this might be Phil low key training himself so he doesn’t accidentally call Brian a mouth drooling masher and then durer durer durrrrrr at him.
It’s because he wants to “correct the record” ahead of the Joon doc but I imagine that the Ludwig video didn’t help matters either. Also he started “button pusher” as an insult to people who play on modern controls, since they only have to push a single button to get special moves but he’s quickly moved onto calling anyone who stuffs all his moves a “button pusher.”

Yeah hes been using button pusher for a little bit now. It might have gone away for a bit, but has made a sudden resurgance for reasons that only make sense to his gin addled brain

I did notice this last stream he was back full childrens entertainer protocal, total clown mode trying to behave him self. Though I’m betting it was Khet got sick of he Thief’s Guild sessions getting interrupted by his childish tantrums.

Dude, Catroller is back and it’s amazing how well his critique of Phil from the beta still applies, it’s just Phil’s added a more or two to the spammed flow chart he still panic mashes with a 50/50 success rate. Yes, the video is 12 hours. Yes, you can watch it in parts. Yes, there is a part 2 and it is also glorious.

- PoP and Dark Dave are messing with their internet AND THE CODE OF THE GAME to beat him
- He low key compared himself El Chakotay, who proved that good players can win majors with low teir characters
- turning on input delay reduction made THE ENTIRE GAME run faster
- He’s so good at SF6 people don’t want to watch him
